DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 – Protecting our environment

F. Morat has been certified in accordance with the globally recognized environmental management system DIN ISO EN 14001 since 2016. In addition to the primary goal of customer satisfaction, another central corporate goal has thus been defined: environmental protection, which extends across all areas of the company and the entire process chain, and whose ambitious goals have been achieved and will continue to be achieved in the future by promoting environmental awareness.

Sustainability and environmental awareness are also central pillars of the Franz Morat Group's corporate strategy. All decisions within the company are evaluated from an environmental perspective. This often goes beyond the legal requirements. All employees are motivated to act in an environmentally conscious manner through training and education. From product design and various internal processes to shipping packaging, numerous sub-areas have been revised as part of environmental management. The responsible use of all resources, from materials and waste management to the energy used, is therefore constantly being optimized.

One particular milestone was the inaguration of the Franz Morat Group's own solar park in the fall of 2023. The photovoltaic system, which was installed at the headquarters in Eisenbach on a total area of around 9,000 m², enables the Group to produce roughly 10% of its electricity consumption itself.
