Our gear parts can be found in virtually every area of daily life, whether at home, in the car or at the doctor’s office. They usually perform their important service without being noticed. They are integrated into a variety of equipment where they perform their tasks quietly and reliably.
Gear part application examples
Combustion air control

Flap actuator on the radiator

The wheel set in the actuator makes sure that the front air inlets of the engine are opened and closed according to the needs. This contributes to an optimal air flow around the vehicle, reducing the cw value and therefore the CO2 emissions. Moreover, during the warm-up phase, the closed flaps allow a faster heating up of the engine, which in turn reduces fuel consumption. The Fail-Safe function makes sure that, even in the case of a failure, the cooling of the engine is ensured.
Sun protection for windows

Drives for electrical sun blinds are mounted in premium vehicles to ensure sun protection. They move two blinds simultaneously: one for the vertical darkening of the main window and one for the horizontal darkening of the side window. The combination of various plastics and damping elements out of TPE allows achieving a very low noise level.
Spur gear stage for E-Bikes

The advantages of pairing metal and plastic can be seen in this application. The high-precision spur gear stage for E-bike motors consists of a metal helical rotor shaft and a plastic gear. This gear stage ensures savings in weight as well as smooth operation and a long service life thanks to the Made in Germany quality.
Mobile telephony (spindles)

In mobile telephony antennas, various elements and subsets are in charge of the daily tracking and regulation of the frequency range for mobile devices.
Vending machine mechanisms

Various drive elements are used in automatic teller machines and ticket vending machines, for example for controlled and fail-safe sorting and dispensing of banknotes.
Limit units

Precision gears made from temperature-resistant plastic are used to allow flexible setting of a precise switching point in a wide variety of adjustment switching units,
such as defining the end positions for blinds.
